Sensei Sadia Morocco Orphanage

During my visit to Fez in Morocco I volunteered at a local orphanage 'Dar Al Atfal Alfassia' and offered the children some Jujitsu sessions.

I taught them some junior white belt syllabus, including mat ettiquette, basic blocking kata, escapes from one handed and two handed grabs, escapes from front and back strangulations, as well as teaching them how to punch and kick.

They enjoyed the sessions and went away with some valuable skills, which they can continue using throughout their lives. I had a fantastic time and a valuable experience learning about the basic needs of children, especially those without families.

I hope to go back one day and continue my work with them.
